“依据世界银行数据，2010年国内制造业增加值超越美国成为第一制造业大国，标志着自19世纪中叶以来，经过一个半世纪后，国内重新获得世界第一制造业大国的地位。”9月20日，工业和信息化部部长苗圩在国务院新闻办举行的媒体发布会上说。

苗圩表示，70年来，大家党团结带领全国各族人民自食其力、艰苦奋斗、积极探索、大胆实践，成功走出了一条中国特点的新型工业化进步道路，走过了发达国家几百年的工业化经历。一个突出的标志是国内建成门类齐全、独立完整的现代工业体系，工业经济规模跃居全球第一。
